Perhaps the most well known of these is Rule 2.3 Conduct Unbecoming or Prejudicial to the Interests of the AFL.
Rule 2.3 states:
“A Person must not engage in conduct which is unbecoming or likely to prejudice the interests or reputation of the AFL or to bring the game of football into disrepute.”
The AFL has long been fond of issuing ‘Please Explain’ letters to individuals and clubs under Rule 2.3.
The question is, of course, does Rule 2.3 also apply to the AFL Executive and staff at AFL House?
